Four members of the House of Representatives from Rivers State loyal to Governor Siminalayi Fubara, have defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The lawmakers are:
1. Hon. Awaji-Inombek Abiante, representing Andoni/Opobo/Nkoro Federal Constituency
2. Hon. Boniface Emerengwa, representing Ikwerre/Emuoha Federal Constituency
3. Hon. Boma Goodhead, representing Asari-Toru Federal Constituency
4. Hon. Manuchim Umezuruike, representing Port Harcourt I Federal Constituency
Their defection was formally announced on the floor of the House of Representatives, marking a significant political development in Rivers State’s evolving political landscape.
