The National Assembly has made revisions to the 2025 budget bill, which was initially passed last week, in order to address some errors related to capital and recurrent expenditure.<\/p>\n

While the overall budget size remains unchanged at 54.9 trillion naira, the capital expenditure was reduced by over 500 billion naira, and the same amount was added to the recurrent expenditure.<\/p>\n
As reported, the revised budget now sets the recurrent expenditure at 13.588 trillion naira, while capital expenditure stands at 23.439 trillion naira.<\/p>\n
